Ann-Sofie Gunnarsson & Åsa Skogström Feldt

How a retail giant is merging with social entrepreneurs

Ann-Sofie Gunnarsson is managing social entrepreneurs partners at IKEA Range &
Supply, leading to global sales of social impact products in IKEA stores and online. Ann-
Sofie has had various sustainability assignments within IKEA, as establishing the concept for
“more sustainable and healthy living” and how to combine social impact with circularity.
Some previous assignments in the Marketing field: Market Insights Manager at IKEA Retail
Sweden, Global Web Operations Manager IKEA Group and Key Account Manager at Framfab
web agency. Ann-Sofie is also a member of the advisory council of Vinnova, a public
organisation with the assignment to support sustainable growth and social development.

Åsa Skogström Feldt is managing the global IKEA Social Entrepreneurship. Åsa has a
combination of business and NGO background. Some of her previous assignments have
been: global President and CEO of The Hunger Project in New York and CEO of The Hunger
Project Sweden, business leader of social entrepreneurship at IKEA of Sweden, head of
marketing for Sony Ericsson in Germany, corporate communications director for Aspiro and
as marketing communications manager for Ericsson Mobile Communications in the Middle
East and Africa. She is currently also a member of the steering committee of the Swedish
Forum for Social innovation and lives in Malmö, Sweden.
